Hotmelt Coating Technology

The Strahm HiPer™Melt has a rigid basic module at the core of the coating and laminating machine. One of three basic coating heads can be installed on the basic module.....they are:

  • Gravure roller coating module
  • 3-roller coating module
  • Slot die coating module

These 3 modules are easily changed and there is no need to cool down the machine to exchange modules. Modules interlock for perfect alignment.

  • Functional fabrics with breathable membranes
  • Car interiors such as headliners, side panels, ect.
  • Hygienic products
  • Hospital and medical textiles
  • Insulating materials (thermal, electrical, and acoustic)

  • Working width 600-2,600 mm
  • Operating speeds: Up to 150 m/min, application specific
  • Coating weights: 2 gsm-100 gsm typical
  • Coating materials : CoPES, CoPA, PE, EVA, PSA, PUR, ect
  • Substrates: Wovens, nonwovens, knits, foams, films, foils, membranes, papers, ect.
